Quick answers to common queries
Kuchipudi can be started at any age! We have programs for children as young as 5 years old, as well as adult beginners. For children, we recommend starting between 5-8 years when they can follow instructions well and have the attention span for classes.
No prior experience is necessary for our beginner courses. Our foundation program is designed for absolute beginners and will teach you everything from basic posture to fundamental steps.
For your first class, comfortable clothing that allows free movement is sufficient - leggings/track pants with a t-shirt or kurta. Once you enroll, we'll guide you on getting the proper Kuchipudi practice attire (sari for girls/women, dhoti for boys/men).
Regular students typically attend classes 2-3 times per week. We offer flexible timings including morning, evening and weekend batches to accommodate different schedules.
Yes, we offer online classes via Zoom for students who cannot attend in person. However, we recommend in-person training whenever possible for better correction and guidance.
