Guru Dr. Vineela Rao is one of the most distinguished exponents of Kuchipudi, known for her exceptional artistry, innovative choreography, and decades-long commitment to preserving the cultural heritage of classical Indian dance. She has over 22 years of teaching experience, and has performed in over 1000 shows across India and abroad, including the USA, Australia, Finland, Malaysia, and Singapore.
In 2003, she established SLB Kuchipudi Kalanilayam with a vision to make Kuchipudi accessible to aspiring dancers of all ages. Since then, she has trained more than 1500 students—both in-person and globally through online classes. Her pedagogy blends traditional techniques with structured syllabi and modern teaching methodologies.

SLB Kuchipudi Kalanilayam offers spacious studios across Ameerpet, KPHB, Kondapur, Manikonda, and Mothinagar. Each space includes full-length mirrors, traditional instruments, and a library of Kuchipudi texts and recordings—designed to provide a professional and culturally rich environment for every learner.
Our experienced gurus, guided by Dr. Vineela Rao, are dedicated performers and educators. With structured syllabi, they focus on both theory and practice while nurturing discipline, creativity, and cultural values. Many students have earned recognition through national exams and prestigious stage performances.
We’ve delivered over 1000 performances across India and abroad—USA, Australia, Finland, Malaysia, and Singapore. Our students regularly perform in national festivals and annual productions like Bhama Kalapam, earning acclaim in events such as Vasantotsav, Natyanjali, and Devadasi Festival.

SLB Kuchipudi Kalanilayam was founded by Dr. Vineela Rao with a small batch of students, laying the foundation for a classical arts legacy.
Our senior students performed the classical ballet “Bhama Kalapam,” receiving widespread critical acclaim and audience appreciation.
We shifted to our new facility equipped with multiple professional dance studios and enhanced teaching infrastructure.
We expanded our student base internationally through virtual classes, reaching learners across the USA, Australia, Finland, Malaysia, and more.
Our students and team were featured in major dance festivals like Natyanjali, Devadasi Festival, Thandav, and Mumbai Nrithya Tarangani Utsav.
